Epic Fighting 7 raises the stakes for San Diego MMA
This last Saturday evening, at the Four Points Sheraton in San Diego, CA, Epic Fights held its fourth event of the year, Epic Fighting 7. As usual, the promotion delivered a staked roster of local amateur talent and exciting entertainment. But what seperated this card from previous events were two titles fights and the opportunity for fighters to secure a spot in the California State Amateur MMA tournament.
The introduction of these new incentives not only added a greater level of suspense and importance to the evening’s fights, it also elevated the level of competition. Fighters fought courageously for a chance to advance their burgeoning careers and take their first steps towards becoming pros.
As a result, fans were treated to the best Epic show so far and the crowning of new featherweight champion, Marvin Madariaga and lightweight champion, Paul Blancaflor. Hopefully there will be more great action at the next Epic Fighting event and fans will continue to see these talented local fighters evolve there skills.
